some WMV and Real files can be play by 2006 CVS but not ok svn now

can be play by 2006-10 cvs xbmc , but XBMC-SVN_2007-07-09_rev9530-T3CH can't play

too bad , after i change codecs.conf put ffmpeg cook audio decoder after real cook audio, force system to use real cook audio decoder

but the sound still bad

XBMC use 2007SVN0807 , codecs.conf 2007SVN0807 , Mplayer 2007SVN0807 , sound bad! use ffmpeg cook decoder
XBMC use 2007SVN0807 , codecs.conf 2006SVN1015 , Mplayer 2007SVN0807 sound bad! use win32 real cook decoder
XBMC use 2007SVN0807 , codecs.conf 2006SVN1015 , Mplayer 2006CSV1015 sound is ok! use win32 real cook decoder

What does "Sound bad" mean, and make sure you are using rev 9844 of mplayer.dll

It does not seem like you have the needed third-party binary DLL, check the folder:
"/XBMC/system/players/mplayer/codecs/" and read the readme.txt file in there.

Then also test with very latest mplayer.dll from (todays) SVN, and get and upload a full debug log.
