Why is this in the main list:
"DD+ Netflix - bitstreaming audio dropouts. Uninstalled Netflix App update DD+ bitstreaming audio now fine."
Is this with the new beta Oreo?
I have uninstalled Netflix App and still have audio dropouts with Netflix and Kodi using 5.1 DD+ (Factory reset and others also tested...)
I feel this worse with Wifi 5 Ghz. Yesterday, I have had audio dropouts every 20-30 seconds with Netflix 5.1 DD+. With Wifi 2.4Ghz feels better.

You need a counterpart to run this test.
So take your smartphone with the same app.
If you take the MiBox as Client you have to write:
-c IP_of_the_smartphone -i 1
On the smartphone you have to write:
-s -i 1
Now you may start the iperf test (server) on the smartphone so that is listening and after that you start the iperf test on the MiBox (client). They should start to communicate now.
You may aswell perform the test the other way round and see if the results differ.

Turning off auto resolution and using manual isn't a fix/workaround.

When the admin of Xiaomi.eu claimed it would be a 'couple of days' before the fix would be rolled out.. I mocked him then.
Here we are.. no fix for even the tiny limited sub section of bugs they are tackling.
Anything short of a roll back to MM and allowing people to update at will, as they fix the issues over the next months.. Is just a cop out.
