Been playing around with the Mi Box for a few days now using both Kodi Jarvis and SPMC from the Play Store. While everything works well, I notice that there is frame skipping every 10 seconds or so on all my video files. I'm sensitive enough that it ruins the viewing experience. Anyone else seeing this? I had the same problem with Ouya when it was first released, but was able to get my video acceleration settings where they needed to be to eliminate the skipping.
Not a big fan of the remote's lack of proper media player buttons (long pressing the big button serves as a play/pause button). When I get a chance I'll see if my Flirc works with Mi Box.
For $69, it's an outstanding value, but I think Kodi on Android is still not up to snuff.
