Yeah, Fernet has changed the number of threads that are used for decoding. That code will come into the nightlies most likely tomorrow. So - first stay on windows, but update to tomorrow's nightly, please.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
