Hi,
I just upgraded from 15.2 to 16.1 on Windows 10 64-bit with NextPVR 3.6.6 as TV backend.
15.2 was working yesterday. I did not check it again today. I installed 16.1 over 15.2.
Once 16.1 starts, it shows "Working" at the lower right corner and Kodi just stuck at that stage. It does not respond to any of my clicks.
I can launch NextPVR and it appears to be working (other than the fact that there is no decoder installed to show live TV).
If I stop NPVR Recording Service, Kodi will stop hanging with "NextPVR PVR Client: Tuner no longer available".
If I then start the NPVR Recording Service again, and got to Kodi -> TV -> Channels, I can then choose channel to watch
The issue appears to be specific for channel 7 ABC. Apparently the signal is not there any more.
Is it any way for Kodi not to hang?
Alternatively, can I set Kodi not to show TV when it starts up?
Or this is really a NextPVR issue. In that case, which one would be a better replacement for North America OTA TV?
