Hi everyone,

I've been watching HD movies on my Kodi since I set it up a month ago. Recently I've been having troubles playing a few HD files. Whether I play them in Kodi (I get sound and image but totally laggy) or in VLC (I only get the sound) it won't work. I know my Kodi server has a low hardware configuration but if I can play some HD movies, shouldn't I be able to play them all ?

Here's the type of file I cannot play:

Here's the kind of file I can play:

The files that you try to play use h265 codec

It's heavier than h264
If you try to play them with no hardware acceleration from the GPU and a not enough powerfull CPU then you will have this type of issue
Moanbag is in da place!

Thank you for your answer.
I wasn't sure about the codec, is there a way I could convert these files to h264 ?
I doubt there are any driver that could help my intel gpu on this PC.

I would say try Handbreak or PavTube. Handbreak is free and PavTube starts at $60.
