I have a LattePanda 4G RAM 64 Bit Windows OS Version 1511 running Kodi 16.1 Jarvis and it works great.
I then did a Windows Anniversary Version 1607 update and ever since when I start a video the audio fails. When I restart the Audiosrv Service under windows services, the audio works again until I stop the video. When I subsequently start a video the audio crashes again and I have to restart Audiosrv to get audio to work again. This behavior is also exhibited when toggling full screen / windowed when using remote. I also notice that this behavior is only when running full screen. When Kodi runs windowed audio is fine.
I created a second device using Kodi 17.0 Krypton Beta 1 but after Anniverary update same issue. When I revert to Windows Version 1511, audio is fine.
When I use any other video player (Windows Media Player / VLC Media player) on both Win 1511 / 1607 on HDMI windowed or full screen, they work fine and do not exhibit the same behavior.
Anybody else experiencing this?
Any insights will be greatly appreciated
