@wesk05, I'd be curious about audio offsets for native player and what you think vs. other media players you've tested with.

Ignore the numbers in the previous post. Something might have gone wrong with that testing. I retested tonight and the numbers below are the average of 5 runs. All tests were done with resolution set to 1080p60 and Auto 24p enabled. The test files have 23.976 frame rate and were in MKV container. + means audio is ahead of video, - means audio lags video.

DTS-HD Master Audio - +62ms

DTS-HD Master Audio - +59ms

So, it looks like the native player has large offsets for Dolby TrueHD. I can't explain why I am not getting audio delays with DTS-HD Master Audio that every one else is reporting.

Set display mode 1080@24Hz and play this is test video
with the system player and ZDMC player.
And write that switch and what not!

I set resolution to 1080p24 and tested 29.97, 30, 50 and 59.94. Refresh rate switched correctly for 50, 59.94. For 29.97 it asked me to switch 2160p59.94 for better experience. If you don't accept it, it will stay at 1080p24. For 30 also it didn't switch.

@wesk, the audio dropouts seem to be caused with deep color set to any use with color space set to auto, try setting Color space to 4:2:2 with deep color auto, it has solved some problems for me.

You and @timstephens24 are right. If you set color space to YCbCr 4:2:2 and leave deep color mode to auto, A/V dropouts stop. The issue here is, if you select YCbCr 4:2:2, 4K 24/25/30 etc. is output in 8-bit and this includes HEVC 10-bit/HDR video clips. It can't be a bandwidth problem because 4K 24/25/30 10/12-bit 4:2:2, 8-bit 4:2:2/4:4:4 all have the same data rate of 8.91Gbps.
