You may not be aware, but your development efforts not only improved the core Kodi music functionality, but you - unconsciously - are creating the very best and most advanced music UPNP server for music.

I forgot to mention that in v17 album type is also available in the (now working) filter that appears on the side blade. You could also use that from the albums node to show just your "spoken word" stuff.

Filter looks like a radio button, but brings up a filter dialog, I have to admit I was using Kodi over a year before I even noticed this feature. It was broken too, so maybe not a loss, and the lack of compliants tells me that many other users haven't noticed it is there.

Why not get a nightly version running on a PC and explore?
