I recently ordered the kodi mxq box ott TV box and I have a 4k smart TV that is a vizio. I hooked up the hdmi cord that they provided me with as well as the power cord and nothing works or comes on my tv. I've tried all the hdmi outputs as well and two other hdmi cords. So before I send it back I tested it on someone else TV that is an older model TV but it worked and came right on there TV with just the hdmi cord plugged in. I talked to a directv guy as well earlier and he said it may not work because my tv is 4k but he doesn't know much about the kodi device. So because that worked on another TV I tried it again on mine and still got nothing but a no signal screen. So is there a certain kind of kodi box that I need to order for my tv or what do I need to do? Thanks in advamce!

This is a hardware thing, fudge around the TV set looking for some sort of up-scaler function. There's not too many boxes that will handle 4K 60hz so you're looking at a TV that will upscale.
