v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
(2018-01-04, 19:49)smp1 Wrote: A totally clean build from current LE master also does not play DVDs since this - kodi: enable USE_LTO. If I remove LTO support from package.mk it works fine. Maybe some sort of issue with gcc?

Can you start a thread on the LibreELEC forum as it's OT for this particular thread. In your thread can you describe your build host (Fedora? Debian? Ubuntu? What version?). I really don't know why LTO would break DVD playback - maybe one of the other community builders will have an idea. So far I've not seen anyone else report this issue however the LTO support only merged a few days ago so it may not have received extensive testing.
