I did try one of smp1's builds a while ago without any problems, he mentioned it was probably kernel related, but this is above my knowledge level ..

You can try my updated build (I used kernel 4.9.80, current kodi-master + newclock5). 

 Thanks you, this build seems to be working fine, no errors so far, where i would have normally see a problem by now.
I dont suppose next time you do a build you could add mediaportal pvr so i can test that..
