That's got nothing to do with Safety Mode, as Safety Mode doesn't touch your failing installation other than to temporarily rename
/storage/.kodi to /storage/.kodi.FAILED. The insecure LibreELEC repository issue is being addressed. For your homepage, get a certificate and start serving your content with https. All repositories will need to switch to https.
