Without knowing the name of the add-on, or what the add-on is doing that is causing the problem, it's unlikely there will be a fix once the Python reuse PR is re-introduced so I'd suggest you contact the add-on maintainer and see if s/he is able to identify the problem and provide the relevant information to Kodi developers. Alternatively the add-on maintainer may need to add the setting posted by @parcel in this this post if the add-on is not compatible with Python reuse.
