Depends what you mean by "current" kernel.
There are regular nightly builds posted here with the 4.14.y longterm kernel, as that is the current kernel branch used by LE master for Raspberry Pi.
There are also occasional (ideally weekly, but not always - sometimes longer) test releases based on the latest 4.18-rc mainline kernel which may be a candidate kernel after 4.14.y, depending on the resolution of outstanding issues.
Other than the kernel, both builds should be similar with regard to Kodi.
