Hi Milhouse,
What version of bash is used in Leia? The reason I ask is because I run a few bash scripts to get links from the internet, but I'm getting a segfault when I run one to bring in Weather Nation. It runs fine in Krypton (no segfault).

Has bash been upgraded past version 2.7?

There is no bash in LibreELEC - it comes with Busybox ash (which can be and is used an alternative to actual bash).

It's hard to think how the shell can cause a segfault that isn't due to some other problem. If Kodi is segfaulting then upload the Kodi crash log, but without any useful information from the segfault (such as a back trace) it's impossible to suggest anything other than you should contact the add-on author for assistance. 

Thanks, Milhouse, for the reply. I'll have to do some reading about Busybox ash. BTW, it's not an addon that segfaults...it's my bash script (I ssh in and run it from terminal). As I said, the same script runs fine in Krypton.
