3 stutters before a HD h.264 1080i at 50hz before stream will work.
SD streams won't provide video unless i disable OXM player, and if I do that the HD h.264 1080i streams won't play smoothly.

Can you post a sample of the problematic 1080i stream?
Also, OMXPlayer should always be disabled and MMAL enabled on a Pi2.
I use DVBSky 960 and performance is not an issue here. Running VDR server and client on the same Pi3.
