SD streams won't provide video unless i disable OXM player, and if I do that the HD h.264 1080i streams won't play smoothly.
Also, OMXPlayer should always be disabled and MMAL enabled on a Pi2.
I use DVBSky 960 and performance is not an issue here. Running VDR server and client on the same Pi3.
Bit difficult to post a sample unless there is a way to make it record when playback is started.
I’m on a Pi2
TVHeadend Server 4.2.6-29 - 9.0.116-0920-Milhouse v4.2.6-42-g406ba88
TVHeadend client 999.4.3.9
OXM & MMAL on.
Turning OXM off = very poor H.264 1080i playback via DVB-S2
Basically I’m back to where I was with #0821
Occasional breakup of image on HD channels (1 every 30 seconds or more on busy live channels)
CPU around 50% even when playback is failing.
Playback on another device with Pi as a server is fine unless Pi is playing too.
H.264 Blu-Ray playback is fine with OXM or MMAL although on testing in #0925 MMAL appears to be having an audio crackling issue on Blu-Ray and DVB-S2 HD&SD as if it has breached the audio threshold 😬 (fixed by reverting back to OXM.)
