I have a problem with daydream screensaver starts in middle playing a movie/video. Any idea what caused that and how to prevent it. Is there a setting in Kodi that can prevent android screensaver from running while media is playing (not paused or stopped)?

BTW, I'm using Kodi v17 (latest beta from google play store). My hardware is Xiaomi Mi Box 3 (Global - Android 6.0).

One more thing,. I'm not using standard daydream screensaver but using Photo Gallery and Screensaver app as the screensaver. Can this cause a problem? Maybe it is not Kodi's bug but the screensaver app?

I would say definitely not a Kodi problem as daydream is an android thing, disable it all and should be OK

While it is a problem that can be "solved" by disabling daydream, it is still a problem if kodi can't prevent android screensaver from running in middle of playback. Most media players have option to prevent screensaver from running during playback. I just wonder if there is one in Kodi (android version) and I missed it.
