I'm sorry but i just can't see what you're saying.
in kodi i click on th gear symbol then click on System/settings then click on logging and enabled every option.
i then hit the \ key.
after the system rebooted I then went to the kodi.log file and clicked on it and the log came up with note pad allowing me to copy the log.
it appears that i'm doing this all wrong.

I think I got it this time
It's like the first computer I bought...it had a 40Mb drive with dos for the operating system...I stared at the flashing cursor on the screen for days, bought a book and started to get some stuff on the screen that made sense.
Did a fresh install
Installed the Kodi Logfile Uploader (That I just found out about) (Dumb-Dumb)
Enabled Debug Logging
Pressed \ key and system rebooted
