Kodi 17 File Manager Help
#1
Running Kodi 17 on NVIDIA Shield.(Android)
I've linked up another 1TB Drive via SMB using Add Source in Kodi.
Kodi Main Source Drive contains Movies, Music, Videos, TV Shows an is a 4TB drive used Call that Drive A
Connectd via SMB to a 1TB drive (lets call that Drive B) via Kodi.

Files on Drive B I can access, (See & View) via Kodi

I want to move files from Drive B to Drive A (movies for example Folder called Star Wars, contains files Star Wars.jpg, Star Wars.mp4 over 1GB in size, a )

However when I Select the file(s) and Copy or Move I get an error message and it wont let me copy, or move.

Any pointers on what I need to do?

My folder on Drive B does not require a username or password to access, I can see it on/in Kodi and mapped to it.

Id really like to be able to move files from Drive B to Drive A

Thank you for your help

I might be a mile off, but I'm guessing you've just come up against a limitation feature of your android os. Kodi (I'm guessing) only has permission to write / delete in its own folders on local drives.
If that's the case I think the solution is to use another app that has a workaround.
Or to move stuff using your pc.
