My search for a device with access to a blue light filter (preferably root-level) has led to the Minix U9 since it has full Android and thus access to more apps than the Android TV boxes. I’d still need to root in order to get the full functionality of f.lux or cf lumens but this sounds like a potential solution.

Can anyone confirm that this is possible? I’m aware that f.lux and the like are incompatible with DRM content, I’m ok with that.
