Just wanted to come and say thank you to all those involved in bringing Kodi back to its roots, never thought I'd see the day!!
I've also registered for the updates so fingers crossed I get accepted 🙏

B - Back Button Controller Problem - Kodi 2017 and 20180105

So I went and tested the B button on the Conroller some more in the new Kodi 20180105 Version in some of the menus. With No Change from Previous Version.

When you Press B in the deeper Menu Settings... it brings you all the way back to the home screen.
When pressing B in a TV Show Season it brings you back to the TV shows Main Folder instead of dropping out one to alle the seasons.

I tried keybindings with the Keymapper addon but did not manage to get the controller to work so that one press on a button brings you one step back.

I Would be realy thankful for any Help or Tips since its a pain when fidling with Kodi Settings and everytime i want to go back one Menu it kicks me alle the way to home again.

 Just got the Update, Somehow my XBox doesnt Update the App automatically. I have to go to the Kodi Store page first and then it starts updating. Ill have to check my xbox settings.

It looks like it has been pulled from the store? it now only shows as windows only again and cannot be downloaded to xbox one

The kodi v18 alpha is missing from the xbox store the only other one available is the 17.6 version and that is not compatible had to uinstall kodi to fix a problem with the control input now it's missing from the xbox store and it's not even showing up in my ready to install list.

Man this sucks, i uninstalled too - hopefully this is a temporary issue and it hasn't been pulled permanantly

I can confirm the back buton is working in 06 version.

So far I can confirm..
B button now goes back 1 level as expected.
Exiting Kodi via power menu now exits properly and no longer hangs on a black screen.
Trakt is now working

I just scrapped the whole idea and ordered a cheap steam link lol... Maybe not for everyone but it will suit my needs, i can slowly upgrade my pc to a game-rig and stream my desktop/kodi/games to the livingroom.

I think microsoft are most likely frustrating, development of kodi on the xbox with all kinds of stupid restrictions.

 I registered for the prerelease test version, already had kodi alpha installed though..  I was able to update this morning via Xbox One manage screen.  So its still there, at least partially.
