I recently had my version of Kodi upgraded from Kodi 16 to 17. When using 16 Kodi would get the channel numbers and guide from the backend (NextPVR on Windows Machine). After upgrade to 17, the guide and channels are using a sequential numbering and not from the backend. In system settings, for PVR & Live TV the following options are all selected:
Synchronize channel groups with backend
Use channel order from backend
Use channel numbers from backend

I have cleared the data and nothing causes it to use the backend channels numbers and order. What do I need to do to fix this? I am using a NVIDIA Shield TV box as the client.

I went into channel manager and found that I had enabled HD home run client, I disabled and now is pulling from NEXTPVR.
