Hello fellow Kodi users.
I own a Razer Forge TV, I have installed Kodi 17.1 and I use a remote control app on my smartphone (the one from Razer and also stock one from Google). The back button works in every other Android TV app but in Kodi it does not work. Every other button works. Razer Forge TV is running Android 6.0.1 and my smartphone is on Android 7.0. Is there a solution / workaround for this or is this a bug known by the Kodi team and will get fixed in the future?

You first need to disable Joystick. Then all the buttons are keyboard emulates. Back button is by default mapped to PreviousMenu action. Better ist Back action though.

Known bug with Android Kodi Krypton this back button issue. It will be fixed.

Also seen similar reports on other Android Krypton devices.

Yes as suggested disable the Joystick Addon in Krypton. I don't know why Joystick is enabled by default in Krypton anyway.
