Honestly can’t remember. Has your repo changed from a few months ago? I’ve tried updating from the repo I originally I installed from, but still the same.
Can you link me to your test repo?

Nevermind, found it. Upadated and will give it a try.

Nope still no go. Doesn’t even turn the strip on when playback starts now.
Did I need to uninstall 4.5.0 before updating to test repo version?

If you have Kodi 17 you shoud use 4.50 if you have Kodi 18 (alpha) then test repo version 4.51

Yeah, I’m on kodi 17, so I guess the 1 I was on was correct 4.5.0

Hi @"DaLanik",

I tried installing YeeMee service, and straight after installing, I got an error message.

This is the log file: https://paste.kodi.tv/jovaxosisi

Can you please help? Thanks

It's something with the PIL module... but I can't figure it out... What hw do you use? Seems like Mac specific error....

I'm using Apple TV 4, connecting Yeelight Strip.

Thanks for your help, hopefully I'll be able to use this.

Thanks, found the LAN Control option. So for the error, is it possible to use it on the Apple TV?

Sorry, I can't help much, since I don't have it... as I said, seems Apple specific...

Hey @"DaLanik",

I tested the plugin with my RK3368 Android box and managed to turn the lightstrip on.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Since I want to install the lightstrip at the back of my TV, which end of the strip would be on the left (on the back tv)? Is it the one near the on/off switch, or the other end?
2. Instead of whole screen, can I make it only left, top, right? How do I go about to make it work?

Many thanks!

I think you don't understand the principle how it works - each Yeelight device can display only one color, that means that this strip is either top/bootom/left or right. There is no way to display multiple colors on the LED strip, that is just by design.
