Hi!

I have and Fire TV running via HDMI to DTS-enabled receiver. Is there any way to setup Kodi to play videos with DTS/DTS-MA sound through it? Now it's playing it only in stereo mode.

WIth SPMC all works fine, DTS plays nice, I can see it on the receiver screen, but with Kodi i've tried several settings, but nothing works. It always converted to stereo.

Firestick(amazon) doesn't support DTS so we don't either.

Thanks for the reply, but i'm using not stick, but just fire tv 4k. And SPMC works DTS on it.

Amazon do not support the Android IEC61937 Audio standard, which mean no DTS or HD Audio passthrough for Kodi Krypton onwards that needs IEC.

Thanks but this build doesn't resolve the situation - it shows DTS as audio stram, but the sound itself distorted, so - back to SPMC.
