So running Krypton 17.3 with Dvblogic 5.5 backend (because i never ever need to touch it ;-)) and running into the following:

- Do a search of anything that should pop up in the guide in the near future (or past)
- Rightclick/longpress OK on (one of the) search results
- Choose 'add timer'
- Make it a series timer and press OK.

This will give me a 'unknown error'. Any other type timer works fine.

Anyone with a 6.x Dvblink backend on latest stable Krypton willing to test the above steps?
I am kinda hoping it's the 5.5 backend because that would give me a reason to finally install the latest release ;-)

Well, I went through the above and it worked for me. I had to use PVR & live TV settings / Clear data to get 17.3 to load the EPG when I first installed it. Suggest you try that before spending money.

I'm on Windows 10 32bit,creators update, fully patched; Kodi 17.3; Xonfluence skin; DVBLink Server 6.0.0 build 14061; DVBLink TV source same level.

So now i have just enough reason (dont need all dvblogic's extra's they have been focussing on) to upgrade haha.

-tv logo support
-able to schedule series timers from a search results screen.
