First-time poster to this board, and quite new to all things Kodi.
I installed Kodi 17.3 through RetroPie, and am trying to set up IPTV Simple Client. I downloaded the add-on via the terminal (as indicated on the RetroPie wiki), but am getting the following error when trying to enable the add-on in Kodi: "UpdateAddons - failed to create add-on PVR IPTV Simple Client, status = 6". There is no other message in the Kodi log that appears to refer ro PVR IPTV Simple Client.
The add-on version is 2.4.11.
I tried googling for a few hours, to no avail - thus taking a chance here.
