Maybe try to reboot Kodi.

Anyone else getting playback error just now? I tried restarting kodi and disabling the 'Force Best Stream' option, to no avail.
BTW, what is the 'streaming proxy server' for?

Same here error cannot play video. I was working fine earlier.

I confirm that we get HTTP 403 from Akamai server. 
Need to investigate more.
