New hotfix version 1.4.1 fixes the current playback issue (403 error).
A restart/reboot of your Kodi is needed.

Thank you in advance for your feedbacks
After the fix, will 1.4.1 just work on Leia+?
I'm still running jarvis and not that savvy upgrading it.
Hi @ybrik,
For Jarvis, I've just made a version 1.3.5 that you can download and install from my repo https://repo.cmik.me/tfc.tv/.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Hi cmik, I'm having issues with TFC now not working. When I checked it I am running 1.4.1 on jarvis so I uninstalled it.
Then installed 1.3.5 from your repo above.  But for some reason, after reinstalling v1.3.5 it always show v1.4.1 on video add-on.
Need your help on this one. I tried reinstalling v1.3.5 twice and keep getting 1.4.1.

@cmik out of curiosity, what's a gigya build number and version regex? Thanks.

It is a script that TFC.tv uses to retrieve apikeys for the oauth authentication, etc. It’s not the first time we have issues like this.

Thanks @cmik. AES encrypted media still won't play though.

Hi cmik, thanks for the updates. My add-on still shows 1.4.2 even if I installed 1.3.6.
But nevertheless, it’s working fine on kodi 16.
By the way, I just cannot find the “most watched shows” in the main menu.
This outlines the shows per folder which is very convenient.
I am using search function for now.

@cmik 1.4.2 can only play older shows. New shows just refuse to play. It asked me to update for drm which I did, but in the log files there are alot of ccurlfile fillbuffer failed http returned error 403. However older shows do play. I think it's been mentioned several times about new shows drm not working. But havent seen any replies to those messages. This is from a pi 3 b+ running standard raspbian and standard kodi 18 from debian.

i cant get this to work for crap and my wife us driving me nuts about it.  my kodi was 17.6, tried both updates listed recently.  no. updated kodi to 18.4, tried both updates, no.

when i go into adv settings for tfc and turn OFF SERVER STREAM MOD, its showtime starts but the buffer is ridiculous and my internet is cox’s gigablast and my tv/firestick is hardwired.  but if i enable it, no shows will even load.

please advise.

still working for me on jarvis. And I just search for the shows by title, it's good and I'm not complaining.

I'm not sure what's going on either but particularly on the firestick it would start to buffer after 30 min of continuous watching. I suspect it has to with the ram being low on the firestick. All my shield tv has no buffering problem. Before when I would watch on the firestick specially showtime it would buffer after 30 min so I would go to fires firestick settings-apps then i would force close kodi. Then It would play smoothly again for 30 min. Then I would repeat the process until I finish the show. Now I just use the silk browser to watch on firestick.

Hi @ybrik
"most watched shows" item was retrieved from TFC.tv website home page.
As TFC changes they website, it is possible that the entry is no more available.
Have you tried "My List" ? You can add you fav shows to your list and find it all in your "My List" menu.

both my Nvidia shield is now experiencing severe buffering issues specially when watching Showtime. Any fix?

tfc version 1.4.3
kodi version 18.4

choosing a lower resolution stream alleviate the problem a little bit. I never had to before. My download and upload speed is at
1.10 Gbps 802.79 Mbps respectively.

every other addon I have installed in my shield is not having any of these issues including 4k resolution videos.

Hi All,

I've just released version 1.4.3 (https://github.com/cmik/cmik.xbmc/releases/tag/1.4.3) that fixes playback issues on encrypted streams as iWant shows and movies.
Just check for addon updates or download directly from my repo https://repo.cmik.me (https://repo.cmik.me/tfc.tv/plugin.video...-1.4.3.zip)

Thanks in advance for your feedbacks.
