Solved Win 10 1703 kodi 17.3 playback mkv problem
#1
Hi,
when I watch an mkv movie or tv show it goes fine the first 8-10 min, but then it hangs and usually crashes. I have tried to extend buffer in advanced settings, but it doesn't work. I think it's a network problem, but can't find the point of failure. Here is the debug log.

pw network

PS All my media is on a Freenas 11. I have tried both NFS and SMB share. When I copy files from NAS I get speed around 900 MBits/s

And both are used in the same log. Wondering if you could disable 'script.tvshowtime' and update library scan on start. Might want to look at advancedsettings.xml (wiki) there have been changes for Krypton. http://kodi.wiki/view/advancedsettings.x...k_settings

I've found the sinner :-) A defect cable to my Airport Express which was in the same switch was the cause for the unstable network, once removed I saw two BR movies without any hickups :-)
Thanks for the reply PatK, I will look into the advancedsettings.xml
