I'm in the process of resurrecting an old PC. Nothing fantastic but my aim is to try and use it as a backend (and possibly front end as well) for pausing and recording live TV.
PC will be Pentium IIII 2.4Ghz with 512GB RAM.
Would love to be able to use it with XBMC as I've currently got an Xbox running XBMC.
I've not ever played around with Linux but I see that some people are trying out integrating MythTV and XBMC.
Is it best to give this a go (and should I use the Linux box or Xbox as the front-end) or wait until there is some PVR integration into the Windows version of XBMC?
