The funniest thing is happening with kodi, I type in a movie name and nothing. I type in the actors name and I get all their movies including the one I was looking for. Is this something happening with 17.1 because I'm not the only one with this problem. Any input would be appreciated.[/size]

No idea. When I type in (parts of) movies, they simply show up.
But perhaps your log file shows a clue.
