I've used Kodi 16.1 Jarvis for some months now. I have a lot of DVD Rips on my NAS connected via SMB volume to my Kodi that's running on a Amazon Fire TV.
All my DVD Rips are in one folder containing AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.
Now I updated to Kodi 17.3 (stable) version, but since then I have problems with the menus in the DVD Rips:
Therefore I updated to some nightly builds of Kodi 18, the problem seems to be solved there, but DVD Playback (MPEG2 ?) is very choppy. So finally, neither Kodi 17 nor Kodi 18 seems to be working fine with DVD Rips.

- Start DVD via selecting the folder and start playback.
- First menu (main menu) appears and works correctly. I can see the cursor and select items.
- As soon as I access a second menu, for example chapter select or trailer section, the cursor disappears and I cannot choose any item. The animated menu and sound is still running in background, but I cannot interact with the menu.
Therefore I updated to some nightly builds of Kodi 18, the problem seems to be solved there, but DVD Playback (MPEG2 ?) is very choppy. So finally, neither Kodi 17 nor Kodi 18 seems to be working fine with DVD Rips.
