Linux Intel VAAPI VC-1 Macroblocking RCA Resolution

I am a friend of Keith's. A few of us got together and pushed this GHI to get VC-1 macroblocking looked at. Resolution is near. I included samples in the GHI.

Perfect. Do you still have affected hardware around to see if the issue is fixed?
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I have Haswell NUC, Broadwell NUC, Skylake NUC and Kaby Lake NUC. The issue persist all the way up to Kaby Lake. I have not had a chance yet to test the patch but others including an Intel developer have. It seems to have resolved the issues with macroblocking.
