v17 Glitching passthrough audio after update
#1
Having glitched passthrough audio after the update. It sounds like the audio is lagging, and it will go very quiet and then very loud over and over. Restarting playback will randomly fix the problem. This has never happened before, so something must have changed between Jarvis and Krypton. Are there any known issues?

You will need to provide a debug log. The instructions are in my signature. Use the Basic method. Once you have enabled debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, restart Kodi then replicate the problem. In your case, try to play the movie. Once done upload to pastebin and link back here.

You don't need file names and directory paths to help, which are the only things redacted. Rolleyes

And, incidentally, this strikes me as useful information considering the problem:
Code:
15:31:02.893 T:4080   DEBUG: FactoryCodec - Audio: passthrough - Opening
15:31:02.893 T:4080   DEBUG: FactoryCodec - Audio: passthrough - Failed
15:31:02.893 T:4080   DEBUG: FactoryCodec - Audio: FFmpeg - Opening
15:31:02.893 T:4836   DEBUG: Thread VideoPlayerVideo start, auto delete: false
15:31:02.893 T:4836  NOTICE: running thread: video_thread
15:31:02.893 T:4080   DEBUG: FactoryCodec - Audio: FFmpeg - Opened

As long as it's the only information that need to be "REDACTED"...

Full log is needed because important informations could be in other parts of the log
