Hi everyone
I have folder on windows 10 computer shared with everyone witout any password.

On Kodi raspberry when i browse smb i don't see anything
When i try to enter th ip address thaht d'ont work

My folder can be seen by other computer windows 10 and 7 but not by Kodi Raspberry and Kodi Android.

The workgroup are ok
The computer see and can ping the raspberry.

same Issue here with LibreElec 8.0.2 smb shares worked fine after updating to the last LibreElec 9 Build (#0922) I cannot access my Win10 Server. I tried typing in the address without browsing the network and this doesn't work too. If I try to brows the SMB network I didn't see anything. I tried to edit the xml files without success and I tried builds #08xx and #07xx too. Same here.

I added a smb share with version 8.0.2 and could access it after the update to Build #0922 this share doesn't works anymore.

The error message I get is: "Operation not permitted"

Anonymous ("everyone", "guest") logins are no longer supported in LE9 (and when it is published, LE8.2).

You need to create a normal user account on your Windows 10 machine with a password, assign the user to the share and then use that username/password in Kodi when accessing your share.

In addition, Kodi in LE9/LE8.2 uses SMB3 by default. To browse your network you need to configure Kodi to use SMB1 only (which you really should disable on your Windows 10 Server), and even then network browsing may not work.

Your custom samba.conf is incompatible with Samba4 and is now being ignored until you fix it by rebasing your custom config on the supplied samba.conf.sample.
