I liken Kodi as a creative overlay of some hardware contrivances, that run some DOS that gets the job done Smile

I see it purely as an HTPC device, if used correctly is a powerful MP3 jukebox (party mode playlist) a great PVR as well as an all in one player to organise you media library, the fact it can stream content is just another feature, VLC and Windows Media Player can also do this....
