Any thoughts on an integrated shortcut/button (perhaps left?) from the home screen, to bring up the power menu?  

This way it would be possible to ditch a Settings or similar explicit shortcut on the main screen, to keep things clean/simple, but still being possible to easily reboot, quit, etc.

Ah.  Looks like the keyboard-side of my remote long-back-press does this, front-side of the remote back doesn't.  Will look at local shortcuts.

Yeah, mapping a remote button would be a good solution I think. There will not be a separate menu for this.
