Cant access shared library from Shield TV
#1
So I recently changedthe server I have everything running from, and as such started from scratch instead of trying to migrate the old library.  Have a shared MySQL database on the server to sync all the kodi installs in the house.  Ever since I redid everything, I am having SMB problems that I didn't have before, but it seems to be limited to the Shield TV (and possibly a libreelec install but that's on Kodi 18 vs 17 for everything else so I'm not sure if its related).  Windows installs are working just fine with everything playing.  Kodi on the Shield will start up, and will show the libraries but most of the posters are missing and if you select any of the movies it says  they  are  no  longer available.  If I try to add a source  on the Shield, I can see the SMB share, I can see the Movies and TV Shows folders, but if I select them I get "invalid argument" and it wont do anything.

Any help is appreciated.

Just tested this on my Fire Stick too, and same exact issue.  The problem seems to be with Android.  These were all working before I changed the server.

Loaded SPMC on the Fire Stick, everything works as it should.  Is the issue Kodi specific and how can I fix that?

Upgrading to Kodi v18 fixed the SMB issues too..guess I will live with it for now.
