Solved Kodi 17 does not work on windows 7
#1
Hello Everyone,
Kodi 16 worked without any issues on my windows 7 computer. But I have tried all kodi 17 versions and none of them worked. After kodi 17 installation done, when I try to run kodi it says "Kodi has stopped working" and nothing happened after that. I read some posts and delete the Addons27.db file from ...\userdata\database and it didn't work either. Below is the entries from kodi.log and i don't see any errors. Can someone tell me if there is any fix for my issue.

I really appreciate all your help.

Hello reza_1674

1. We do not allow logs in the forum. As yours was quite large, I removed it for you. Logs should be pasted to a pastebin type site. Two examples are... https://pastebin.com/ or https://paste.ubuntu.com/
2. The log you posted was not a "Debug" Log. It was just a standard log. Please follow the instructions here to create a Debug Log... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=323719

 Hello Karellen,

Sorry for the logs that I posted on my forum and thanks for removing the logs for me. I didn't find the advancedsettings.xml file, so I created as instructed and tried to run the kodi again. As usual it failed again and I uploaded the debug log to https://paste.ubuntu.com

Please let me know if any other information is required.

Thanks.

 Hello Everyone.

Just wanted to inform you that my issue has been resolved after I updated the Display Adapters drivers. Now Kodi is no  more crashing at startup.

Thanks.
