Hello people.
I have a huge problem. I just got my new Nvidia Shield and downloaded Kodi on it.

So, to my problem...
I have some movies on my computer that i want to see.
But my Kodi can´t find my computer... I have the folder "shared for all" on my pc, but i still can not find my pc on the list? 
all of my devices are of course connected to my router.

Anyone have a sollution for this?

you should probably share more info. The best info would be, if you tell us which OS is used on the computer which hosts the files

I guess it's windows 10 machine and therefore you should try to add the source with the IP instead of the hostname or try to browse the network. So (for example) go to the filemanager, select "add source", then select "add network location", in the upcoming windows select "SMB" and do the relevant settings. Make sure your windows share is password protected.

Windows 10 drops the SMB1 support, which might be related to your problem.
