I'm trying to configure the "NFO WatchedState Updater" plugin on Kodi 17.6 for Android.

First of all  where in Android can I find "as.xml"?

As for the plugin settings

The bottom line I think is "System/Settings/services/Control" and I do have the following set:

1. Allow remote control from applications on this system
   
2. Allow remote control from applications on other systems
   

I have also set a userid & password for this access which may cause issues as this plug-in doesn't allow configuration of those?

I have also modified the port from the default "8080" (not "9090" as stated in the screenshot) to another port.  I tried changing the port in the above picture but that possibly caused a hang (and weird UI flashing) so have disabled the plugin for the moment.

To upload a screenshot, use button 19 if the file exists on your local computer, or use button 14 if you have already uploaded it to an image hosting site.




As for you question, I don't follow it. Please provide more information.

I've got the plugin working now, basically leave the port at 9090 (the port and credentials configured under "control" is for EXTERNAL access), no changes were required to "advancedsettings.xml" (previously known as "as.xml"):

If by as.xml you mean advancedsettings.xml then please refer to http://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata_folder
