Ok so I have a samsung plasma tv. I want to install Kodi onto a bootable usb flash drive. As I understand it this is the easiest way to accomplish getting kodi on my tv. Can someone walk me through how to do this.

No you cannot use open elec. You cannot run kodi directly on a Samsung tv.
