Firestick 17.6 unable to search for SMB server, Error 2: share not available
#1
I am using my MacBook as an SMB server and I have shared both my movies and TV folders, but when trying to search for it on my fire stick, I get the error, Error 2: share not available.  I tried adding the IP like an old post on the forum said to do but it didn't seem to work. Here is the log file:

I am actually having another strange thing happening on these fire sticks as well.  I am currently streaming to my fire sticks from my MacBook using UPnP, and while almost all shows stream perfectly fine , there are a couple of shows with just one season that will not stream any episodes.  they play fine on my computer but just will not stream no matter what I try.  I also have the log file of this happening for season 5 of Bob's Burgers:

for some reason it doesnt actually start until line 2743, but its there.  However, if I can get SMB to work then I don't need to worry about the UPnP issue.  Thanks!
