Hi,

I tried to include one up-to-date ("Dark") and one popular ("The Walking Dead") TV Show to my KODI.
I'm familiar with file name conventions, since I have done this in the past sucessfuly.
I'm using "The TVDB" scraper, but I can't tell the used version.

Unfortunaltey I'm gettings error like this:

20:46:21.156 T:1433228192 WARNING: No information found for item 'nfs://*******/The Walking Dead/', it won't be added to the library.

Any ideas whats wrong? I'm trying to include the two new series to my library since mid december.

Check the scraper version in Add-ons>My Add-ons>Information Providers>TV Information. You should be using TVDB v3.0.1

If it is the wrong version, then on that same page, update the repository from the Sideblade Menu... http://kodi.wiki/view/Home_screen_and_ba...blade_Menu

If you are using the correct version, provide a full debug log

Can you do the following...

1. remove The Walking Dead from the Library. The whole show.
2. Clean Library in Settings ... http://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Media/Lib...an_library
3. Rescrape the show.

Does that fix it?

No, did not work.
Since the shows were not added to the library previously, I hat nothing to remove.
I cleaned up the database and rescanned.
Same problem: "won't be added to the library" ...

Ok, wasn't sure about that, but thought I would try in case they were new episodes being added to an existing show.

I will move your post to the Metadata Scraper section of the forum. Hopefully @scudlee, who wrote the scraper, can see what the problem is.

Which language are you trying to scrape the show- English or German?

That's strange... Is any other scraping working? E.g. for movies? Are you sure this box has no issue with accessing Internet and TVDB?

Movie scraping is working fine.
I don't have any other media than TV shows and movies.

I did an update from OpenELEC running Kodi 17.3 to LibreELEC running Kodi 17.6.
Now scraping works and the new elements are available.

Oh sorry, I missed that. I should have been more attentive in your log and read the first few lines. It's one of the reasons we ask members to provide as much detail as possible... would have been able to spot it immediately instead of hunting for it.

Yes OpenElec has problems with scraping. Librelec is the way to go.
