v17 Unabled to watch x265 files on Shield TV
#1
For some reason I'm having a lot of issue with x265 files (4k and some of them HDR) on my Shield TV, sometimes they buffer a lot and sometimes they are really choppy basically in slowmotion.

I tried the same file on PLEX just to test if my LAN was the issue but they worked without any issue.

I'm running Kodi v 17.6 on the latest Shield TV with default settings.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Always use a paste site like pastebin.com. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

OK I'm sorry for that, this is a log with a clean installation of Kodi with no add-on.

For reference I used this sample to test:
