[split] Saving to HDD

Dears,

Can't download music and videos to HDD.

For info, the HDD has been mounted well to nvidia shield, and i set path to HDD.

2) Please provide more detailed information. Where are you "downloading" videos and music from?

Producing and providing a link to your Debug log (wiki) might be useful to see what's going on.

Isn't the Shield TV treating attached HDDs via USB at read-only?
Or is this about an internal HDD? I only have the 'simple' 16GB version.

 If the external HDD can read only, how to do then?

Connect your Shield TV to a network computer / NAS via Samba/SMB or NFS, that has this HDD connected.

Not necessary to connect your HDD to a PC.  The Shield creates a folder on external drives named NVIDIA_SHIELD which you have full access to and you need to use it if you plan on writing files to your attached HDD.
