Release CBC TV (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation)
If this is not the correct thread, please link to that.

The ICI tou.tv plugin has stopped working. The problem seems to be a "HTTP Error 426: Upgrade Required" (ixapalorih.kodi (paste))
When I try the URL (https://services.radio-canada.ca/toutv/p...&version=4) directly, I see the same 426 but no Upgrade: header so this seems like there's also a problem on SRC's end.

Hi @Pinkerton - I don't maintain the radio-canada side of things -- sorry Sad I wanted to bring it in but IIRC it was sufficiently different to be non-trivial and I just don't have the time.

And just like that, it started working again.

Greetings CBC Fans,

I’m curious about streaming at 1080p and wondering if any users (of this add-on) have premium (CBC Gem) accounts.

Specifically, does a premium account allow you to stream TV Shows at 1080p?

Thanks.

A big thank you to @micahg for maintaining an add-on I find myself using more and more.
And a belated thanks for fixing the authorization issue from last year.
Your good work is appreciated.

@ertyertyerty

ertyertyerty would you be able to have a look at your TVO addon 5.0.0.  You were able to get the much wanted The Agenda with Steve Paikin show working and added podcasts and a schedule.

The main issue is programs that are part of a series will not play and some of the podcasts seem to point to the same podcast.

It would be great to get this version working again (including The Agenda)

Thanks

I have been getting the CBC Check the log error lately when starting Kodi and when running a merge in IPTV Merge.

I noticed I am no longer getting a guide for some of the Live TV channels (Toronto or News Network)

Can you have a look, thanks

cbc comedy has some "to be determined" blocks in their guide data and its screwing things up.

@micahg

Thanks as always for the quick reply.  My problem is I don't know what to do with the fix, I am used to installing a zip file and I'm not real familiar with github.  I could wait for the Kodi repo but I'd like to learn how to use the fix.

Hey, sorry - just linking the fix so you know I did it -- it got merged recently and should roll out automatically shortly.

Ok, I wasn't sure if the fix would be automatic or if I was supposed to replace a file.  I understand now, thanks.

I just got the update from the Kodi repo and the EPGs are back.  Thanks

Looks like there still is an issue with CBC Comedy.  The EPG shows Working Moms playing for several hours but it's Kim's Convenience that's actually playing.  I assume that is an issue from CBC's end and not the addon?

Thanks again for the quick fix, the CBC GEM addon is an important one for Canadians as we can't access CTV or Global streams without paying (cable)

I suspect it's out of my control - have a look at the listings to compare (eg: https://www.cbc.ca/programguide/daily/20...omedy_fast)

@micahg

I've just updated to Kodi 21 and reinstalled the CBC addon ver 4.0.18 and found about a third of the categories in the Documentaries section are getting the Check the Log error. ie Society, War and Military, Animals etc

Everything else in the addon seems to be working ok.

Can you have a look, thanks
